Hot-Dip Galvanizing
Coating of steel and iron structures by immersion in molten zinc bath. The most effective method for long-term corrosion protection; preferred for structural steel, pipes, and construction.
Hot-dip galvanizing is a coating method performed by immersing steel and iron structures in a molten zinc bath at approximately 450°C. During this process, zinc forms a metallurgical bond with the steel surface, creating an extremely durable coating that cannot be scraped off. Coating thickness varies between 50-150 microns and provides three-way protection: physical barrier, cathodic protection, and self-healing. It is preferred for construction steel, structures, fences, pipes, lattice systems, galvanized sheets, and industrial equipment.
